What we believe about independent thinking: Cadrivolna
Learn why we built a structured AI research assistant for private investors, what principles guide our work, and how we think about the relationship between good research and better decisions.

Why we built this
The gap between having access to investment information and knowing what to do with it is wider than most people acknowledge. Private investors in the UK have never had more data at their fingertips: company filings, analyst commentary, sector reports, economic indicators, and a constant stream of financial news. Yet the volume of information does not automatically produce better decisions. Without a structured way to process it, more information can actually increase uncertainty rather than reduce it.
We built this service because we believed that the tools available to private investors were either too simplistic to be genuinely useful or too complex to fit into a real person's life. What was missing was something in between: a rigorous, honest research assistant that could help an ordinary investor think more clearly, without pretending to have answers that nobody can reliably provide.
Our approach to investment research
We are not in the business of predictions, tips or confident-sounding market calls. Our approach is grounded in the belief that the quality of your research process matters far more than any single piece of information. A well-structured research process helps you ask better questions, notice what you might have missed, and arrive at a view that can withstand scrutiny — including your own.
That means the assistant is designed to challenge as much as it supports. It will ask you what assumptions you are making, prompt you to consider alternative scenarios, and flag where your reasoning might be resting on foundations that deserve a closer look. This is not comfortable in the way that a reassuring tip is comfortable, but it is far more useful when you are making decisions that matter.
What we believe about independent thinking
We believe that private investors are capable of forming genuinely independent, well-reasoned views when they have the right support. The financial industry has not always operated on that assumption. Too much of what is marketed to private investors is designed to create dependence rather than build capability. We want to do the opposite: help you become a more confident, more rigorous researcher over time.
This service does not replace a qualified financial adviser, and we are clear about that. What it does is help you make better use of your own thinking, your own time, and the information you already have access to. The decisions you reach are yours. Our role is to make the journey to those decisions more structured, more honest, and more genuinely useful.
